I've always wondered...how do they make it??? Do they raise special chickens, pigs etc. that don't have bones or what???

I have seen the phrase "mechanically deboned" on some meat packages. So apparently they have a machine that removes the meat from the bone. A butcher could also do the same thing by hand with a sharp knife.
