There is no place you can buy the complete series. At least not legally. Only the first 4 seasons have been officially released. Anyone who offers to sell you the complete series is selling you bootlegs. These are episodes recorded off TV. This is illegal because the company that owns the rights to the series (in this case Sony) gets no money from this transaction. This means they (the Bootleggers)are selling you something they don't own.

It is sold on bootleg sites but as far as I know only 4 seasons have been released.

It does air on Encore if you decided to record the remaining seasons. It airs the show unedited so you would have all episodes as they originally aired.

Sadly, there hasn't been a complete series DVD box set released as of yet, jtmovies91; only the first four seasons of "Strokes" have been released on DVD as of 2012. The last I heard, Shout! Factory had the DVD release rights (the rights were leased from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment); looks like Shout! let their DVD release rights expire.

Personally, I'd love to see either Sony or Shout! release a complete series DVD box set of "Strokes," if there's enough demand for it, that is...hell, if its spinoff, "The Facts Of Life," can warrant a complete series DVD box set (courtesy of Shout! Factory), why can't "Strokes" receive the same treatment?

By the by, Mill Creek Entertainment reissued the first two seasons of "Strokes" nearly two years ago (along with other TV series from the Sony Pictures Television library, spanning from the 1960s to the present); perhaps Mill Creek will release a complete series DVD box set in the near future. Fingers crossed!

If there is ever a complete series DVD box set of "Strokes" released to consumers, I'd like to see the surviving cast members (Todd Bridges, Charlotte Rae, Mary Jo Callett, Shavar Ross, Danny Cooksey, and Janet Jackson) supply episode commentaries and interviews. I also hope that the original pilot, "45 Minutes From Harlem," is included as a bonus feature (if it still exists), along with some outtakes and bloopers. Wouldn't that be awesome?
