Wasn't supposed to be a serious moment and not a funny? lol I can see viewers being confused as hell in 1976 when watching this because Carl 1. Told the kids he was going to propose 2. Never said he was going to the doctor So when he told Florida he didn't think they should see each other again I can see myself in 1976 being like WTF???
