Default Barbara's Emergeance tonight

-9 EST. The series first Barbara focused episode, and in my strictly unbiased opinion, it's good.

-Casting note: The first appearance of Bob, and a Peter Brady sighting.

-Programming note- It originally ran before the 2 parter on Friday where they dumped David, but for some reason here it's after.

-Bonus reminder: Ginny shows up at 9:30 EST, and Mark Hamill tomorrow.

I was going to post this exact same thing you did! To remind you to watch your girl Barbara!

And I KNOW TVfactfan will be THRILLED to see Ginny! I know how much he liked her! NOT!!! Just kidding. He, by no means was a Ginny fan!

At 9 I have to do the season finale of True Detective on HBO, but since I missed this episode the first cycle I'll definitely DVR.

Barbara's Emergence was a really good ep. And it was cool seeing Chris Knight and the introduction of Bob. I liked the Bob character. I wish he could have been in more eps. The ones he was in were all good eps!

OK!!!! What was Barbara thinking? Or what were the writers of this ep thinking? That Hank character was AWFUL!!!!!

He was NOT HOT, or cute in any way!!!! Barbara shouldn't have got all ga ga over him, he wasn't worth it!!! Plus his personality s*cked. He was basically a jerk who wasn't even good looking!!!!!!! His face was weird and flat featured, like he got smashed in the face with a frying pan or something!!

They should have casted Christopher Knight (Peter) as the role of Hank, than I could see where Barbara would have questioned her "good girl-ness" cause he was HOT and COOL!! !!! ! Not over that Hank that was nothing to look at and wasn't at all nice! Even Bob was way hotter and cuter than him!!!!!!!!!!!

Definitely a cliché, at the least. As for Barbara in the episode, there's an age difference of course, but it reminded me of a story about the Dick Van Dyke show, where early in the first season the writers wrote an episode for Laura, and discovered they had an actress who could do more than just play "the wife".

That's some fine emerging.....

But why does it have the Ginny opening credits when Ginny wasn't introduced till about a month later?
