Steve Buscemi Confirms he Never Auditioned for "Seinfeld"

Steve Buscemi learned Friday on "The Tonight Show" that the internet not only sells Steve Buscemi-based merchandise, but has spread a falsity about Buscemi auditioning for the role of George Costanza on "Seinfeld".

“I never did and I don’t know how to correct it because I don’t know how the internet works,” Buscemi told Fallon.

Buscemi said he couldn’t even understand the rumor because he couldn’t see anyone but Jason Alexander playing the role.

“Can someone help me change it?” Buscemi asked.

I'm currently reading the SEINFELD FAQ book, and I just coincidentally passed the part where it says he auditioned.
