Sure it's sad, but it's sad when anyone dies. I don't think people should make an even bigger deal about it just cos she's the Queen Mum.
I don't give a sh#t about the monarchy and it makes me puke the way some people still worship them like they're special or something! They are outdated and they do nothing for this country - they should be gotten rid of!!

I agree with that. Someone who works hard and helps and loves so many people could die without being praised, but when the Queen mum dies suddenly all the TV stations are taken over by the News with a lot of reporters saying "this is a sad day for Britain" etc."

So I'm a lowlife, huh? Let me make my point again just to see if you can understand me the second time around.

Yes, it's sad that she is dead, but it's sad when anyone dies. People are always saying that it's who you are, not what you are that matters. The Queen Mum was 101 and now everyone has to put everything on hold and pretend that they care cos she's dead, when they probably never gave a f#ck about her when she was alive.
Your point is she was the queen so we have to show a bit of respect? First of all, like I said, I despise the monarchy and they will get no respect from me - ever.
Secondly, there used to be this old woman who lived down the road from me, her name was Mrs McKintosh. She was a wonderful lady who led a full and productive life. She was school teacher and aswell as helping hundereds of children during her career she also did a lot of charity work at her church and around the local community. And she continued to do all these good deeds for as long as she was physically and mentally able.
Mrs McKintosh died in her house, alone, at the grand old age of 98. And noone knew. She lay there for days and nobody knew. And that is precisely why I'm sickend when someone in the public eye dies and everyone mourns like they lost a personal friend. Mrs McKintosh was an amazing, kind, wonderful woman and she has to die alone in her big empty house while other people (and I'm not just referring to the Queen Mum at this point) get flowers laid out on the streets for 'em just cos they were famous.
It makes me sick.

Do you understand me now or are you still gonna call me a sicko?
I also find it rather amusing that you have the audacity to attack me for being insensitive when you decided to title your post "The Queen Mum Bites The Dust". That's hardly a respectful way to phrase things, now is it?!

God damn are you forcing me to go into my whole 'opinions and truth' speach? It's Mossopps opinion. I mean if you don't agree, leave it alone. Don't be calling her curse words. You know, I've figured it out. Your such an instigator. You look to pick fights, don't you? You only called her 'bitch' because you wanted a good ol' rank out with her. Now you and I both know there was no reason to say that

Here we go with "innocent little you" lashing out at people again. And you wonder why people get in arguments with you.

You're a bitch for calling Mossopp one, because you are not respecting her right to her opinion or her right to be angry for being called low.

And let's keep in mind here folks, Mossopp and JethroSimpson actually live in the UK, so I think they know a little more about the Royal Family than we do.

Excellent insight, and there's no doubt in my mind you are right.

I would advise Mossopp to take the high road and leave it alone, but do whatever you feel necessary.

She should keep her damn opinion to herself, she is totally dissing her. It's so sad what happened to the poor old lady and she's also dissing JT. This Mossopp really needs to shut the **** up before I belt it across the face.

I don't like the monarchy, but I liked the Queen's mother. She was a heck of a lot nicer than the actual queen, from what i've heard. And, we post when ANYONE famous dies. Feel free to post when someone locally or someone that you know dies, but we all know who the Queen Mother was, and so we all cared.

Mossop is not an "it", Mossopp is a girl. And NO she does NOT have to keep her opinions to herself!!! So what if she doesn't like the Queen Mum?

You know, if not for every individuals opinions, there would be no boards. These boards are made up of everyones opinions. And no, she's not dissing JT. He just posted it to let everyone know incase we haven't heard.

And if you want my opinion which I'm sure you don't, because you don't like opinions, but I and I'm sure people on this board think you need to stop picking fights, especially with Lorna. You need to just keep quiet when you don't like someones opinion or explanation, and not trying to make them feel bad by fighting or calling them not nice words. I think all you like to do rank out people and their own opinions and you know what, I'm sure as hell sick of it.
