Default GAWD, Schneider was so 'effing annoying!

Schneider was an excruciatingly, frustratingly, mind numbingly ANNOYING man! He was constantly letting himself into the Romano apartment with his pass key and he would never shut the hell up. He was always blabbering on and on about nonsense! I would have called the cops on him a long time ago. I really loathed Schneider. Nothing about him was endearing or funny to me. I truly do not know how Ann tolerated that man. I LOVED when Sam threw his pass key out the window!

Well I agree and I disagree! Let me explain!

No doubt he was annoying. He was lonely , which yeah right off the bat, he wasn't Ann's problem or responsibility , she had enough going on with the divorce, her two daughters and David! So I could see Ann, thinking this man is creepy , I don't need this!!!

BUT, than on the other hand, he was looking out for them! He proved to be not really creepy (maybe still lonely, but in a looking for a family sort of way)! He was helping out in tonights eps, contacting his trucker friends to see if they had seen Julie and Chuck! And many other times over the years he seemed to really love and support this family!

Yes , he was annoying and a big mouth, But I can think of many people in my life over the years that were like that, and they were family or family friends and that was just how they were and you had to love them! I mean they are a pain in the butt annoying , but have a heart and really love you! Schneider pretty much adopted himself into the family, being annoying as he was, but they saw he really cared for them !

I would have kept the chain on the door at all times so Schneider couldn't get in.

Schneider had a hell of a nerve when he let himself into David's apartment with Ann. Schneider has no boundaries and he is always abusing his position.

Yeah, that part is true. Esp. at first when they moved in and knew nothing about the man. He could have been a pervert or a thief! Kind of stupid on his part because if anything did come up missing in the apartment, right away wouldn't they think it was Schneider maybe coming in stealing when they weren't home?

David should have reported Schneider to the building landlord for invasion of privacy and trespassing.

oh c'mon - everyone has a friendly but over-caring and annoying friend/neighbor/relative like that, its just part of life.

...oh, and if you don't have one - its because its you.

NO, I do not have a neighbor or janitor that just lets themselves into my home ten times a day. Maybe you wouldn't mind having your privacy invaded, but I would. So yeah, .......that's me.

In an early season ep, the story had moved to the bedroom, so he just opened that door too.

My mom did not like him either. She found him everything that Wawwie said he was. I don't care either way.I could see where he could get on your nerves but I thought he was ok.

Schneider was even so much more annoying than Steve Urkel from Family Matters. At least Steve Urkel could be lovable and sweet despite how annoying he was.
Schneider was creepy IMO.
