Say it isn't so!!!!!! Alex!! NO!!!!!!!

I tended to like the eps that focused on Julie. That was when the cool drama came in and the continued episodes like this Runaways four parter, when she got involved with the older man, Marriage to Max etc. !!

The show never would have run for 9 years without Barbara, but it may never have become a success in the first place without Julie.

In my opinion, Julie was the best and most interesting character on the show.

The show would have never run for 9 years if it was more than 3 channels

YES!! I SO wanna see Alice instead!!!!!!!!

Only I wish they could digitally change the title of that series on air and on DVDs to "Mel's Diner" since it focused on the other characters there too besides just Alice.

I've never been a fan of catchphrase shows like Good Times, Alice, Different Strokes where someone said the same thing every week (kiss my grits, dyno mite) and the laugh track roared hysterically every time. It always felt like lazy writing.

I would love to see Alice again! I never thought of it, but yeah "Mel's Diner" would have actually been a good name for the show!

NOW!!! Everyone sing along--------

Early to rise...early to bed.
Then, in between, I cooked and cleaned and went out of my head.
Going through life with blinders on - it's tough to see.
I had to get up, get out from under and look for me.

There's a new girl in town and she's looking good.
There's a fresh freckled face in the neighborhood.
There's a new girl in town with a brand new style.
She was just passing through
but if things work out...she's gonna stay awhile

NO!! Well IDK . I didn't think so before but who knows now that I'm older maybe Old Mel would look better to me! I remember him being too hairy! And that customer that was always there the funny guy with the glasses! He wasn't hot either. Than wasn't the guy who played Reuben Kinkaid on the Partridge family one of the customers? He wasn't hot either. And Tommy was kind of cute, but not quite crush worthy! So OMG will I be able to watch a show without developing a crush?????
