I have started an e-mail list on Freddie, the Freddie Prinze Sr Message Boards Via E-Mail List.

This is not a typical Freddie Prinze Sr e-mail list but is designed specifically to allow anyone who needs to read the messages off of the message boards via e-mail on CHICO AND THE MAN & Freddie Prinze to be able to read them via e-mail without having to go to the message boards.

How this works is:

Let's say a Freddie Prinze Sr Fan is going on vacation or an out of town trip & would like to be able to read the messages off of the CHICO AND THE MAN & Freddie Prinze message boards in their e-mail or voicemail without having to log on to the message boards. Like they want to save on computer connection time or tying up someone elses phone lines.

The Freddie fan would then write a message to the group saying they are going on the trip & what dates they need to get the messages. Then people whenever they write on a CATM or Freddie message board would copy their message (You can use copy/paste etc) that they wrote on that board & copy it on to here also writing on there which board they wrote it on.
If anyone saw that there were any messages posted on the message boards that weren't posted on here, then they would copy & paste, posting a copy of the messages on here.

Then everyone on the list gets all the messages either as single messages or a digest if they have it set up to read in digest mode. Or if they don't want the messages in their e-mail cuz they are reading them at the sites they are on, they can log into the site here & read & post the messages here. On the date the person says they no longer need to access the messages from the message boards via e-mail, that's when everyone stops posting to the list. Until the next person need the message via
e-mail. You would have to go to the sites to post replies to the messages as it'd be too much trouble for folks to have to copy a reply from someone & post it on the boards.

With some of the Freddie message boards they already have the feature where you can get the messages thru your e-mail. This is with MSN COMMUNITIES & YAHOO CLUBS/GROUPS (Yahoo clubs recently became e-mail groups). So with those groups there is no need to post the messages from those message boards because you can already get them in your e-mail.

What this would work with would be the message boards where you can't get the messages in your e-mail like:

THE SITCOMS ONLINE CATM MESSAGE BOARDS

TRACY & DE-DE'S ENTERTAINERS WE LOVE MESSAGE BOARDS

JENNY LEE'S MESSAGE BOARDS

& STARSHINES MESSAGE BOARDS

Etc.

With this e-mail list I think you can go to the website to read & reply to the messages if you wish but it is much easier to just read & reply to them thru your e-mail as this is a simple type of e-mail list without alot of extra stuff to it like photos etc.

As far as I know of this list doesn't have extra features like sections where you can display pictures of Freddie or other pictures etc. I think it's just set up simply where you read the messages & reply to them either in your e-mail or off the site. I have no idea if the list can receive attachments but I'm suspecting it probably doesn't. So if any new pictures
are added to any of the CATM BOARDS & site you will have to e-mail it to the person directly.

By the way, I will be going to Nags head for almost a week leaving next Thurs the 4th of Apr & coming home on Wed the 10th. We're gonna go stay with my folks at the condo they have there & go to a few times a yr.
Arlo will be there that Sat to do a show in the area & we are going to see him which is why the trip. Will be nice. Then back again in June for a week for my Birthday.

I will have my laptop with me which is an old slooow 486 LOL but if I could get the messages thru this list during the 4th-10th of Apr it would make it easier to read them cuz I could download them to be read offline via e-mails & then get on to reply at night time. Anyway here goes...
