Default I bought a one gallon jar of

pickles at Costco. Made me think of the episode where Ward brought home a big jar of pickles and June laughed.

I hear ya. The pickle crock references were all great in that episode. Whenever I have an encounter with Brussels sprouts or pedestal glasses like the Cleavers had---it takes me right back.

That ep was on today! Wally getting the job as an ice cream man! Wally looked SO CUTE in his ice cream uniform! I think this ep. little Chucky Murdock (Rory Stevens) made his debut too! What an adorable little boy he was!

Observation - It seems whenever Tooey is in an ep. Chester is too! Like they are a set or something! Anyone else notice this? Pretty soon they won't be on LITB at all right? And it's obvious how Larry is being written out as of now too! Richard made his debut the other day! He kind of seems too old to be Beaver's friend or something? Anyone else agree?

Thanks for brining this thread up. It has been a month and I have only eaten two pickles. I must bring the jar to the front of the fridge.

I am not very fond of Richards character. He seems way older than the others.

Hmm, maybe I will go and get a nice cold pickle and some carrots and olives....

I was thinking that today when Ward brought home those pickles. That I would love a nice deli sandwich and a pickle to go with it!

I think Larry maybe will be in one or two more eps.? But it is kind of like Richard is replacing him. I felt a little sad the other day watching. Richard does seem older than the Beaver and his other friends and it's kind of like taking the show in a different direction. Making Beaver seem not so much a little boy anymore!

I like the later eps when they feature Wally and his friends a lot!

That's right Tooey and Chester were like a tag team. They were always together except in Lonesome Beaver when Chester has a scene with Beaver and we don't see Tooey. Tooey was actually nice to Beaver. Like in Perfect Father when they're playing basketball Tooey says "Well if it's alright with Beaver than it's alright with everyone." Mrs. Brown was, however, not that nice to Beaver in Water, Anyone? He wants to give her some water but she has to pay for it.

I think Richard was much better than Gilbert. He seemed a bit more sensitive to Beaver's needs except when he gave the cop Beaver's name in Mistaken Identity. He knew a lot too like how that guy at the school bought frogs to experiment on. He was older than Beaver because he knew that boys change in adolescence and Beaver was naďve about it.
