Default I'm going to sleep with my neighbors boyfriend-----

Than go over to her place and bring ice cream to eat with her today! I'm kind of bored so that is my plan for this afternoon!

Don't ya think everything would be forgiven with the offer of ice cream? I'll be sure to bring vanilla and strawberry and ask her if she wants white or red!! LOL!! That part of the show last night was a little silly . That would have been funny, if Ann said I don't want either, I like chocolate , now get out of my apt. you b*tch. You think you can just come down here with ice cream and all will be fine!!!!

I kind of remember that episode. It was quite silly from the little I can remember. Now you have me curious, should I go over to my neighbors and sleep with her boyfriend or should I find the episode and watch it?

That ep was on last night! We posted a lot about it around here on the ODAAT threads, if you want to get the details of the ep. more! It was amusing, it's worth a check out. One of the better ODAAT eps. IMO, just the ice cream part was silly I thought!

As for sleeping with your neighbors boyfriend, I'd suggest it only if she REALLY likes ice cream!

I think she does like Ice Cream.
Actually I have been happily married to my wonderful hubby for 27 years and would never think of doing such a thing, ice cream or no ice cream.

I will definitely track down the episode.

Oh I know I totally understand why David did what he did. Except that Ann was doing his laundry made it kind of look like he was a jerk. But young men will be with another woman if his girl isn't putting out! So David wasn't the point of my thread.

The lady was a bit nervy coming down with ice cream right after Ann caught them and I think it was kind of silly on the writers part. Maybe if she came with a bottle of wine or something, but ice cream. Like Ann was a little kid and could be cheered up with ice cream! It was like OK? And the way she said Do you want red or white? I would have said F you b*tch if I were Ann!

Than tonight after Julie's date fell for Ann David was offering ice cream too!!

Long, long before, because we're in '76, and the album didn't come out till '78.

And thanks for the quote. I was playing around with edit and accidentally deleted the post!

Especially when you are not in an exclusive, committed relationship with him;
as Ann was NOT. And yes, the ice cream offering and acceptance part was totally unrealistic.

Hell making a man wait for sex even when you're in a committed relationship can be risky business. I have been happily married for 27 years now and if for some reason I'm not in the mood that night then he gets in a mood.

I guess I have to say it goes the other way to.

I was married the first time for 10 years and this time it's been 15. So I guess I'm performing my "wifely duties" OK cause so far no women have come over offering me "ice cream"! If my man did cheat, and I caught them, if the lady wanted to apologize, she better come over with some wine or something , I'd want to get drunk, screw the ice cream!

I agree, Wine would be a must. Forget the ice cream. I would also make sure the baseball bat was handy just in case I was not thinking the apology was sincere enough. I would also save a little for my husband or shall I say my ex-husband. Thank God I have never had to experience this.

That other woman was a total jackass for showing up at Ann's place with the ice cream.... very tactless... but I do admit that I did not feel sorry for Ann one tiny bit.

Yeah! If I were that lady , I would wait for the next day at least, till Ann would get over the shock a little . Than I would have called her and said I was sorry, I didn't realize her and David were in a relationship, and feel out what Ann's reaction was. If she seemed like she was forgiven than I would suggest if we could get together and talk over some wine/drinks or coffee!

LOL!! That lady could fill Ann in on his "performance"! Than Ann could think about if David was really worth sleeping with or not after all!

I don't think I agree with that. Rumor has it that a man makes love quite a bit differently to a woman he loves than a booty call that suddenly became available. Just saying. . . .
