Did he work with Archie on the loading dock or drive a cab part-time? I can't remember if it was ever mentioned exactly what his occupation was.

He was alias Paul Pulaski the sergeant in Archie in the lock up. I kid that was Allan Melvin playing another character before Barney came on.

Yeah, he played him too. I like Barney but Archie seemed to have better friends early in the series, they seemed like more neighborhood buddies then real close friends early on.
