I read on aol that someone saw a facts of life commercial on screen gems network that said "comming soon"..Anyone else see this, or is someone mistaken, or just lying?

Do you know when they saw this commercial? Someone saw a commercial for FOL on screen gems last summer but then they never aired an episode or atleast no one saw it if they did.

that woulda been me who saw the commercial last summer... they said that classic 80's tv was comming for a week and they showed FOL, DS, and Family Ties... but they NEVER aired it... i have no idea why they'd air a commercial and not paly them... but we only get 1 hour of SGN here... hmm... wonder if they will think about playing it sometime in the near future...

I really hope they show it they have an e-mail address cause I e-mailed them once I'll try to find it and post so we can e-mail them.I get it like very early in the morning and it seems like I sometimes see it at like 10 in the morning

Whatever commercial you saw it definately wasn't for Screen Gems Network. Screen Gems Network only shows the vast library of Columbia Tristar shows. Diff'rent Strokes and Facts of Life are Columbia Tristar shows, but Family Ties is a Paramount show. In the three years of the existance of Screen Gems Network, I believe they shows Facts of Life a couple times before it made its way to Nick at Nite. Although it would be good for SGN to show something different besides Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, Jeffersons and Benson.
