Default Where would that adopted kid Jesse have slept?

If Barbara and Mark actually were able to adopt him? Wasn't that house just a two bedroom? When the two couples first moved in, and they were fighting about who gets the bigger room. And it ended up Julie and Max did because they had the baby too, and needed more room. If it was a three bedroom house, Annie would have had her own room, they would set up a nursery for her!

Well Jesse was 5 years old already. He was too old to be sleeping in the room with Barb and Mark. He needed his own room ! Plus I really don't think an adoption agency would go for that! They would say their wasn't enough room at the house, and I really think they wouldn't agree to him sleeping in with his adoptive parents. Those legal adoption places are very selective and picky!

Did they have a sofa bed? That's what Penny slept on when she was on Good Times lol

No, they would have let him stay at Sam's Bachelor Pad.

It's funny how both shows were set in Apartment complexes and there was always a problem with living space.
With Good Times the problem was financial.

But with ODAAT It would have been so easy to have the kids move into the complex some place.

What about when Annie outgrows her crib and needs her own room?

Max suddenly "disappears" and Barbara looks after the baby, like she always planned...

LOL!!! I'm the one who started the thread , but after a while I got to thinking. Like when Alex moved in to Ann's apartment and Barbara still lived there. Schneider just "added a wall" and made an extra room for Alex!

Well he could do the same thing at the house . Add a wall in Barbara and Mark's room and make a little room for Jesse and do the same thing when Annie got older. Add a wall to Max's bedroom for a little bedroom for Annie. It would become a 4 bedroom house. 4 small bedrooms , but Oh well! LOL!!

If it went to a 10th season they probably would have found a basement, den, and inground backyard pool.

The adoption 2 parter (re-airing tonight) is really only one of the few I could recommend from season 9. Besides that, Dear Max and The Nearness of You for shock value, and the finale, which probably should have been done at the end of 8. Imagine a finale which would have included Julie and Alex.

I liked the one last night. The bedtime story! " Miss Nancy Pants"! That was cute!!!! It showed Julie's motherly side! A shame a few weeks later she abandons her though! Also showed Max and Julie romantically ,( which up until now they really never seemed to have any chemistry)! .Fighting but than romantic! Max should have been kissing ME though!
