Default Nooooooo!! Michael and Valerie, how could you??

Michael shaved his beard and Valerie cut her hair! They both looked SO much better with the beard and long hair, respectively. Much sexier looks than him clean-shaven and her short-haired, IMO.

I wish Antenna could digitize the episodes to fill in Michael's face with a beard and lengthen Val's hair, lol.

LOL! Fill in a fake beard and longer hair!

I was going to start a thread about Barbara's hair. Wondering what you guys think of it? I loved her hair right before she cut it, it was long but the front styling was so cute and becoming! Slimmed her face out a lot. The hair I didn't like so much on her was when it was all curled back in the front and really fluffy and shorter than the first few seasons. It added so much weight to her face. I really liked her hair straight and natural when she was younger In earlier seasons, than how it was right before she cut it. But also to be honest , the shorter cut is kind of cute. It's more conservative. I guess they want her to look more like Mark Boyer's wife than Eddie Van Halen's wife!

And Max's beard, well I like facial hair on men, but he looks good clean shaven too! So either/or I wouldn't kick him out of bed!

In all honesty guys, I like the changes. I like Michael without the beard and Valerie with the short hair. It draws even more attention to her beautiful face. When I started watching the show, it was season eight but I never saw the episodes with Max until season nine. So beardless is how I remember meeting him. Lol.

I can't speak to the beard, but as for the haircut, although everything still looks fine, and to paraphrase Julie, that genetically blessed button nose will always be there, I do remember being slightly disappointed back in the day.

Funny that Max would shave the beard when he became a writer. I think a beard would have went along with somebody who is a writer and doesn't need to be clean cut for a 9-5 job?

Barbara's hair. The cut was cute, but the long hair was sexier , I'm sure you guys would think! I was noticing it had looked a couple eps before the shorter hair, her hair looked like it had a slight perm. Back than a perm that wasn't REAL curly was called a body wave. Her hair looked very cool, but maybe it dried or damaged her hair out and she decided to cut it to make it healthier looking? Back than they didn't have the amazing hair products like they do nowadays!

Yeah the more I see it the more I like it. It's a cute feminine cut. Not too short! It does show off her cute face well!

LOL! Max had the beard when he "stole" his best friends girl at their wedding. Therefore the beard associated with him being a jerk! I think he looks younger without the beard, but like I said, either way is fine with me!

You guys are lucky, being able to have the option of facial hair or not! Us girls don't ever get to know what having a beard is like ! LOL Unless we are the bearded circus lady! LOL!!!! But it must be fun to have a beard sometimes and clean shaven sometimes , a little variety. But than it would be a drag having to shave your face all the time if you opted to not have facial hair. At least nowadays, scruffy 5 :00 shadow is more acceptable than in the old days!

I was staring at myself in the mirror for like 2 mins because I was like......"Da,, I look good without a beard.

I have a little hair on my top lip and hair on my chin but no beard

I love that look.

Yeah it was a little longer and bushier in the first couple of seasons. Like a little Dutch boy cut or a page boy maybe they call that?

I noticed Barbara's hair is a lot lighter than it was before. she has it highlighted!

I have a beard, started growing it in my 20's and have had it ever since. I trim it every so often before it starts to grow out too bushy and wild. I prefer to keep the beard neat and trimmed rather than look like a wild man from the mountains.
