It was a safe in the living room and on front of the safe it had WELLS FARGO on the front. I had no idea that bank was around back in 1971 and actually was founded in 1852
Just looked so funny seeing wells fargo on a tv shows from 45 years ago. I was like...........does that say Wells Fargo?? lol |

If you watch old TV westerns from the 1950s and up, you'll see the Wells Fargo name fairly frequently -- usually on signs, attached to the exteriors of buildings. And most of those shows represented the late 1800s (like the period between the Civil War and 1900).
Tales of Wells Fargo was a pretty popular western, starring Dale Robertson. |
