Just turned this on and see Dan walking out the door sad. Roseanne is depressed and have not see Darlene and Becky yet

I recall that he took his mother to a mental hospital in California. He said something to the effect that since he had money now he could get her the best of care.

Was the nurse Phyllis Zimmer? Why did he have the fling? It seems out of character for him, but then nothing about Season 9 was normal! I guess if you really want to get technical the fling didn't even happen because Dan was no longer in the land of the living. Roseanne's "ending" completely threw pretty much the entire series out of whack.
