Dearest Friends:

It is with heavy heart to inform you that after a brief illness, Ernie passed away on July 8th. He is survived by his wife Paula and sister Regina and loving family and friends. Services were held privately. Throughout his life, Ernie lived each day to the fullest and his generosity was felt by everyone he met. If you wish to honor his memory, extend a kindness in his name. Please be aware of scams asking for donations in his memory.

We'll miss you, Ernie -- thank you for the music and joy you brought to our lives.
