Default Find a Grave, hurtful messages

Has anyone been to Find a Grave lately? People are leaving horrible messages to Freddie, and I don`t understand why. Even in death he is still getting kicked in the face.

Anna, I go there quite often and I am very surprised those messages have not been removed. There have been others in the past and they have been removed promptly. I don't know how to ask the administrator of the site to remove them, or I would have already done that. What is really ironic about the batch in all capital letters is that, if you click on their "signatures", it turns out to be the same person writing all of them, and the last message he leaves is "R. I. P."!!! If he really wished Freddie peace he would not have posted such insensitive things about his talent, the circumstances of his death, or the future of his son!

I took your lead and left Freddie an Easter greeting--I hope more of us will do so and at least push those nasty messages farther down the list!

I agree! There are too many bad messages on there that shouldn't be. There is an old saying you shouldn't speak ill of the dead. I have read some stuff on there that had me crying. I figured the Easter messages were from some of ya'll. Hopefully the bad messages will stop soon. It just breaks my heart...

It is very heartbreaking to see such terrible things written about someone that is so beloved. I too, had confidence that the Webmaster of the site would rapidly delete the negative messages. I hope that they will soon take care of this and restore the site to the honorary place it is intended to be.

I am baffled and hurt by anyone who would take their time out to be so mean. It is obvious that they have no concept or understanding of Freddie in the least. Perhaps, in time, they will thoroughly read this Board and many of the other fantastic websites that are dedicated to Freddie. Then they would learn what we here, have always known; That Freddie Prinze, Sr. was one of the most talented, sweet, kind, caring, and special individuals that ever lived. He had a heart that was sensitive and tender. Unfortunately, that heart was too often broken by people such as these who misunderstood and misjudged him.

It's alright now Baby. So many of us love you and always will, forever and a day.

FREDDIE FOREVER!!

Angry

I'm glad that we're sticking together and trying to fight off these nuts who bombard the website over there. I hate that. Those awful people should preach humility instead of evil.

I bet the webmaster over there is probably so busy they haven't been able to keep a notice over there to see whats up. They probnably need to be notified so they can remove the bad messages. They ought to put a message on the boards saying no hurtful messages allowed. The anonymous message asking those folks to please quit talking bad about our Prinze was posted by me. I hope that shuts them up! We love ya Freddie!

For some reason people think bad of him because he killed himself. If only they wouldn't judge. If they knew him like we do even tho we never met him they would be more understanding towards him. It makes me so sad to see him being put down. He is a sweet person I bet. I wish the world knew that...

I agree he was a sweetheart. I read on AOLs messge boards about the death of the Queen Mum, and the hateful things people were saying about her shocked me. And what did that do? But cause the Brits to write hateful things back. Like you said Cheryl, if you can`t say anything nice, don`t say anything at all.

The rude messages to Freddie were probably the work of some drunk college kid with nothing better to do and probably didn't even hear of Freddie Sr until Freddie Jr got famous.....
And he's probably mad 'cause his girlfriends got a crush of Freddie Jr.!
