I was watching Columbo last night and he had poison ivy on his hand and he was telling the murder suspect he didn't know how he got it since there is no poison ivy in California. I had to google it to see if that was true and it was, California has poison oak but no poison ivy or sumac. It can't grow in that type of weather. Did you know that ?

I also read somewhere that you can get bit by any animal in Australia and not have to worry about rabies because they don't have any there.

Does anyone else have any tidbits ?

I didn't know that about poison ivy, but I have heard about no rabies in Australia.

Ducks don't echo, ravens are deep blue, and Detroit is the only American city that is north of Canada!

The Guinness Book lists Zimbabwe as the country with the highest death tolls from lightning strikes. 21 people were killed by a single bolt in 1975.

Wolf Spiders eyes will light up at night when you shine a flashlight at them.

Rub a banana peel on a fresh bee sting to relieve itching and reduce swelling.

Everybody probably knows this one. Throw a slice of bread in a bowl of cookies and close the lid to make cookies soft.

I think you all know this already but,

Orange Tabby cats are almost always males, and Calico cats are almost always 99 percent of the time female! If a Calico is a rare male he will most likely be sterile!
