Macy's Parade 1989 full - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I'm looking for a complete copy of the 1989 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with commercials. My copy is mostly complete but it's missing all of the commercial breaks of the first hour as well as two chunks afterwards (there's a few more bits missing from the first hour, among them a Bugs Bunny balloon inflation test which is elsewhere on YouTube). It lasts just under two hours with the commercials. I'm sure someone on this forum has the full 3 hour broadcast sitting around. Have lots to trade in return.

Interesting. Can you tell if the edits were done on the air (i.e., when it was being recorded) or were they done during the conversion to DVD?

they were done on the recording. Every time the recording cut it would go to a blue screen or static from the VCR before it came back. I'm pretty sure that someone on this forum has the entire broadcast, commercials included, since everyone had a VCR at this point and the parade is especially popular to tape.
