Default J.Js condition.. oral sex??

Was it me or did Penny make a reference misconstrued by Thelma as Oral sex with her "eat out" comment..??? Wylonna had to calm Thelma down... seemed shocking censors would not catch it.... and shocking for a family show... I just happened to catch it watching a rerun ... I did a double take..

No freakin way....I gotta DVR that episode when it comes on again.
I thought it was a just a thinly veiled reference to how bad Thelma's cooking is

Once thing I noticed was an uncharacteristic cheap shot at Bookman taken by Thelma

Bookman {to JJ**: "You gotta be careful, it's dangerous messing around with them married women"

Thelma {agitated**: "I know...look at Mrs. Bookman"

Gadzooks, that is incredible.

What shows could get away with in the 1970s compared to nowadays, even with the looseness of language and stories, a prime time comedy cvould never have a child alluding to oral sex and not get drummed off the air for a number of reasons.
