Default Johnny Fever dates Jan Brady

Not until the (crunched) credits tonight did I realize Howard Hessemen's first date was Eve Plumb.

And Christopher (Peter) Knight is in an early season episode, so that gives us 2/6 of the original Bradys.

I felt bad for Eve having to play such a trifling bit part like that.

However, what was it with Eve's performance? Something was off. I think perhaps she might have been offended by the crappy, one note role she was given.

The girl in the bathroom passing messages to Ann and Sam was given more to do.

Eve was so cute and adorable on The Brady Bunch even when Jan was a total headcase. She did an effective turn on The Facts of Life as Blair's novitiate step sister but other than that and the Dawn role she pretty much faded away.

Even in the Brady spinoffs her spark was just gone and she didn't seem happy to be there.

Your thoughts???

I just watched the ep. and thought the woman looked familiar. I usually go right to imdb or wikipedia after the show ends and check out who the guess starts were.

I do that too! Esp. if it's somebody I think I know who the actor or actress is to confirm. Or if it's a good looking guy, if he's not very known I look up his Wiki profile and try to find pictures of him ! LOL!!!

Yes people, I do have a lot of time on my hands!!

I know, I did a double take when I saw her name on the ending credits, I had to rewind the DVR. And I must say that she did look like crap. That's sad. I know that she looks better than that, but not on that episode.

Eve Plumb was actually a more serious actress than the other "Brady Kids" and then got typecast as Jan Brady, which hurt her career. She is the one who declined the awful variety show, and she has been reluctant to be in any other Brady stuff. She will also refuse to do "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia" in piblic or private and will belt you in the face.

Wasnt some 90s band named after her?

Yeah, the name of the band was Eve's Plum.
