It's my nephew's girlfriend's father. He says they went to high school together. He says that Freddie was always a class clown and that he went to see Freddie do stand-up after he became famous. Anyway, I thought that it was cool to meet someone who knew him.

It would be interesting to know if he could lend any insight into why someone so talented ended their life so tragically. It seems like he had much more going on personally than what people saw on the surface.

He talked like he was surprised that Freddie took his own life. He seems like he knew Freddie, but that they weren't close.

I don't see why anyone would think being talented would mean anything.
