Son and former husband of convicted killer Paula Sims both died in a car crash
Robert Sims and his son Randall were both killed in a car crash on Saturday, June 20. They were 63 and 27 years old, respectively. Their jeep went off an interstate overpass after it was rear-ended by an alleged drunk driver. Robert's ex-wife and Randall's mother is convicted killer Paula Sims. Paula killed both of her infant daughters, Loreali in 1986 and Heather in 1989, and tried to cover up her involvement by blaming the crimes on a masked intruder. She is currently serving a life sentence in an Illinois prison.

That is very sad news. I recently rewatched that FF episode. There is also an interesting book about the case called "Precious Victims".
