My favorite episode of Father Knows Best is also one of my favorite 30 minutes of television. Does anyone remember it? Betty's friends play a joke on her by fixing her up with a shy soda jerk. She decides to get them back by acting as if she's having a great time with him. She shows him off to all her friends and makes a fuss over him. Little does she know that all the while he is falling for her due to the attention she is showering on him. He tells her that he loves her and Betty feels like a heel. After this he learns that he was a mere pawn and Betty learns a lesson and makes it up to him. I loved it and it's one of the reasons I love sitcoms.

I used to love watching this show when I was a kid, but I havent seen it since because no one carries it around here. The stories were always great. I don't remember the one you mentioned, but I remember some of the Christmas episodes. Also remember when Bud thought he looked good wearing a fake mustache and when he lost it his father pretended to draw one on just to prove he did not need it. When Margaret had an old girlfriend come to visit who was working at a fun job that made Margaret feel like just a housewife. As a child I lived in an isolated area and shows like this were my window to outside world.
