Until 1983. The actor landed another sitcom with Ann Jillian. I got annoyed when he went running to his father like that. I would have slapped him again just for doing that!

I remember seeing this for the first time as a kid and thinking what a mean old lady she was for hitting that little boy, haha.

I could not stand Alex! I fast forward past all of his scenes when I watch the show. He was a little brat who acted like a toddler when he did not get his way.

Lord knows I want to slap him every time I see him show up. Ann had gone through hell with Julie and her recent divorce which was followed up with a heart attack and the death of her father so Alex was just another addition to her stress.

The writers hit gold with Nick but missed with adding Alex.

Did not like Nick nor Alex. They should had made Francine a regular. Her cat fights with Ann was funny and hilarious.

They actually did make Francine a regular after Alex left. She was in the 8th and 9th season I believe. She was added to the credits which indicates she was a regular

I was still missing Julie and Max at this point. Alex and Nick didn't fill the void for me!

Wow! I totally forgot he was in Jennifer Slept Here. Now I have to watch that show again. It has been years since I have seen it. I loved Ann in It's a Living so I just watched it for her.

I also want to see it again to see if Glenn Scarpeli is playing a little brat. I remember the show vaguely. She played a ghost I believe.

Report back if you do. I barely remember that one, and no one is going to rerun a show that lasted 13 episodes.

I just found the first 5 episodes on an old VHS. I am looking for the rest. I did not have a recording device at the time the show was airing so I used my mother's. I am looking through boxes at her house to see if she still has the tapes. Hope she hasn't recorded over them after all these years.

So far I found a bunch of old Golden Girls recordings from NBC and short lived sitcoms called Day By Day with Doug Sheehan and It's Your Move with with David Garrison.

David Garrison from Married With Children fame?

You know Alex was ok it was Nick who I couldnt stand. He just came off like a smug, ass. Very sarcastic. I liked Ann better with David or even Howard Hesseman's character during the last season.
