Bravo's "Shahs of Sunset" Renewed for Fifth Season (Exclusive)

"Shahs of Sunset" will be back for more. Bravo has renewed the reality series for a fifth season, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The show, which hails from Ryan Seacrest Productions, centers on a group of Iranian-Americans living in Beverly Hills and the greater Los Angeles area.





Season four launched in March, and the first of the show's two-part reunion helped lead Bravo to it's best Monday in primetime among all keys demos since February 2014. The June 8th episode drew 1.6 million total viewers and 926,000 in the adults 18-49 demographic, with all live-plus-three-day data reported.

Combined with the season 10 premiere of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" (2.6 million,1.6 million adults) and the series premiere of the scripted comedy "Odd Mom Out" (1.2 million, 705,000 adults), the night averaged 1.6 million and 964,000 adults 18-49.

"Shahs of Sunset's" two-part reunion concludes Monday.





Originally scheduled to bow in October, the fourth season was delayed nearly five months when Bravo and Ryan Seacrest Productions denied the show's post-production crew a union contract and the crew subsequently went on strike. A union agreement was ratified a month later, ending the strike.

"Shahs of Sunset" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
