On Diff'rent Strokes I think in season 2 or 3 there is a two-parter in which Arnold, Willis and Drummond are held hostage in a bank.

The Monkees. The guys run into these two men who pretend to be movie directors and convince Micky, Davy, Mike and Peter that they are making a movie about robbing a bank and they are "portraying" the bank robbers. The whole episode is hilarious!
