What happened to Jethrine in Season 1
Jethrine came out with Pearl and was in several episodes, and then suddenly disappeared without explanation. Does anyone remember what happened to Jethrine?

For that matter, what happened to Pearl Bodine? She also disappears in the last few episodes of Season 1 without explanation.

they never showed or mentioned what happened to them. I read somewhere once-maybe it was here-that they showed her in one of the color episodes, and once I saw a color one where Granny & Elly went to visit her and in one scene Granny was talking to Jed on the phone from her house.
Also, I know that Max Baer stopped playing Jethrine because the makeup was starting to affect his skin. |
