Default Two Big Macs and Two Orders of Fries at Mcdonald's in 2015 would cost

over $20.00 not under $5.00 like in 1975

JJ and his girl was able to go to the movies, get something from the concession stand and go to Mcdonald's all for $5.25

Ouch. Today, the same fun JJ had for around $5.00 would run like $80.00 today. A Big Mac meal complete with Big Mac, Medium Fries, and Medium Coke alone would run like $8.00 including tax. So, for 2 people, $16.00 right there. Then, the movies alone in IMAX is like $17.00 just for the movie tickets alone, so 2 people equals $34.00 just for the movies., so far, you have just spent roughly $50.00. If you both get large Popcorns and large drinks, that could run you each up roughly $15.00, so, $30.00 just for snacks. $80.00 for what JJ did for roughly $5.00. So much inflation in 2015....

I think Two Big Macs and fries is about $23 with tax. lol Because when I get a Quarter Pounder and fries and a soda that is over $10. So I know two Big Macs is over $20

Here's a better idea. Order off of McDonald's Value menu! You can get a Value burger, value fries, value drink, and a sundae for roughly $5.00, including tax! For two people, that's only roughly $10.00! As for the movies, you can buy a AMC stubs card for $12.00, and you get about $1.00 off movie tickets, so two IMAX tickets would be $16.00 each. With the card, medium popcorn and soda is automatically upgraded to Large for free. A medium drink and large popcorn or roughly $13.00, each customer, ($26.00 together)but you can get a courtesy cupfrom the food court and split the soda and you can share the Large poppopcorn. Plus, with large popcorn and large soda, you get one free refill, so you guys both get the equivalent of a large popcorn each(two large popcorn split). You just spent roughly $66.00, with a $14.00 savings over Alex's $80.00!

That is probably true...the movies would be $20 more.

JJ now would have his girl just have a sandwich and chips all spent on food stamps and watch a film on TV.

That's how I'd have dates...that's why I'm never on any.

I had a coupon once where you could get 2 original chicken sandwiches and 2 fries at Burger King for $5. But I haven't used it because I don't like Burger King anymore.

Fast food can still be cheap, just have to pick the right things on the menu.

The only fast food I can tolerate is Nathan's. The thought of McDonald's, Burger King or Wendy's makes me sick. The worst is probably Taco Bell. GROSS!!!
