Paul Adelstein Returns for "Prison Break" Revival
"Prison Break" Limited Series in Development at Fox
by Michael Ausiello June 2, 2015 "Prison Break" may be getting sprung from television purgatory. Fox is developing a limited-series revival of its 2005-09 drama series that would re-team stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, TVLine has learned exclusively. Details are sketchy, but I hear the reunion project — if it happens — would be similar to last year’s "24: Live Another Day" in that it would span a dozen or so episodes and feature a closed-ended storyline. Reps for Fox and 20th Century declined to comment. Earlier this year, Miller told E! News that he “floated the idea” of a "Prison Break" continuation to Fox and “they seemed to think there was something there.” Fox co-chairman Gary Newman acknowledged at the Television Critics Assoc. press tour in January that "Prison Break" would make “the perfect event series,” but added that there were no current plans to bring the Fox River gang back together. "Prison Break" stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell are set to star on DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" premiering midseason on The CW. The pair first reunited on "The Flash". http://tvline.com/2015/06/02/prison-...tworth-miller/ |

They made a DVD movie called Prison Break: The Final Break, where Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) died. Would this limited series take place before his death or will they just forget about the DVD movie being made? Just curious as to what they will do.

I was a fan of the first 2 seasons (especially the first), but I lost interest in Season 3 and stopped watching regularly. I didn't dig Season 4 at all.
I also know that Robert Knepper reprised T-Bag on the short-lived A&E series "Breakout Kings", but I didn't get to see that. Do you know what happened w/ his stint on that show? |

I didn't watch Breakout Kings so I don't know what happened with his character on that show. I may watch an episode or 2, if I can find it free online.

I actually met Knepper at a convention and asked him about it.
His appearance didn't air yet so he told me that he, unfortunately, couldn't tell me anything about it. |

In the movie it only showed Sara seeing the explosion and Michael not making it out. His body wasn't shown so it's possible they could say he survived. He's like a cat with 9 lives.

"Prison Break" Revival 'Sequel' Event Series Officially Ordered at Fox
by Michael Ausiello August 6, 2015 Fox has confirmed that "Prison Break" is returning to Fox in 2016 as a 10-episode event series. “It’s going to bring back both brothers, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell,” Chairman and CEO Gary Newman announced at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Beverly Hills on Thursday. Added Co-Chairman and CEO Dana Walden: “I would describe it as a bit of a sequel. It picks up the characters several years after we left them in the last season of the show. The brothers will be back. Some of the iconic characters from that show will be back. I don’t think [exec producer] Paul Scheuring knows exactly where he’s going over the 10-episode arc, but it definitely will address some questions that were set up at the end of the series for a new audience.” “This is the pure vision of the creator of the show,” Walden continued. “It’s going to take a little bit of a detour from where we left off, but it should feel very satisfying and event-ized. Fans will be excited about seeing these characters back together again.” Regarding the fact that Miller’s Michael perished in 2009’s Prison Break: The Final Break, Newman quipped that that particular plot point would be “ignored,” while Walden explained, “What Paul pitched to us was a very logical and believable — in the world of Prison Break — explanation for why our characters are alive and still moving around the world.” http://tvline.com/2015/08/06/prison-...official-2016/ |

Cool! I still miss Prison Break so it will be nice to see this. I saw Wentworth Miller & Dominic Purcell on some episodes of The Flash where they played these over the top villains. It just wasn't as good as Prison Break.

Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell say the project is moving forward, but “there are a lot of moving parts to that conversation." |

"Prison Break": Mark Feuerstein Cast as [Spoiler]'s Husband in Fox Revival
by Michael Ausiello February 22, 2016 "Prison Break" has sentenced Mark Feuerstein to a life of violence and heartache domestic bliss with Dr. Sara Tancredi. TVLine has learned that the "Royal Pains" alum is joining Fox’s forthcoming revival in the recurring role of Scott Ness, the formidable husband of Sarah Wayne Callies’ Dr. Sara Tancredi. Callies is in talks to return as Sara, but there’s no deal currently in place. Series stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell have signed on to reprise their lead roles as brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows in the 9-episode event series, which was greenlit in January. “The story unravels on an international landscape — it’s not a domestic plot,” Fox co-chariman/CEO Dana Walden recently shared. “We open on a very international contemporary-feeling story.” Walden said that Fox’s "Prison Break" continuation will “address” the events of the straight-to-DVD epilogue, The Final Break, in which a major character met his demise. Noting how many times the characters have broken out of prison, “It’s not a documentary!” she laughed. http://tvline.com/2016/02/22/prison-...-husband-cast/ |
