9/15/15 is the release date!

"Sisters" is also a WB title...maybe this means more WB titles are also in the works from Shout! Factory.....COME ON PERFECT STRANGERS!!

While I won't be buying this, it's good to see Shout digging deeper into the lesser-known shows and still partnering with WB.

According to tvshowsondvd.com, "Sisters" is the 7th most requested unreleased show. Maybe this means that Shout! Factory is actually looking at the people's votes. For those that are curious, here's the top 10 on that site:

1. Salute Your Shorts
2. Ed
3. Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place
4. Homefront
5. You Can't Do That on Televsion
6. John Doe
7. Sisters
8. Boston Public
9. Step by Step
10. Cold Case

Had been hoping for this since Shout factory released thirtysomething. Now 4 of my favorite dramas( thirtysomething, China Beach, This and Father Dowling Mysteries) will have been released!

I was thinking of picking up this but I have heard that the picture quality for this DVD is awful. Shout sure is dropping the ball as of late. They haven't had much new stuff to release and when they have its poor video quality.

You're not kidding, I can tell you that-- even their L.A. Law releases were said to have awful picture quality. Beats me as to why, let alone that only three seasons' worth have been released to boot.

I bought the three seasons and the picture quality is poor considering how better older shows at that time are on DVD. I wish they would clean up some of the DVD releases. And also if Shout is going to charge so much for Sisters and not give the fans a decent video quality then charge less for the release.

off topic but I am also tired of current drama hits like NCIS and others being released in 480i video when they are presented on tv in 1080p….why not release these on blu ray or don't charge so much for the regular dvd release….30 bucks for lower video ratio is pure robbery.

I have all of Hart to Hart (Sony's first two and the remaining three from Shout!), and the picture quality is incredible on the Shout! releases. That makes them well worth the money, not to leave out that it was a very entertaining series to begin with, IMO.

I have them too and it amazes me at how great the video quality is for this show..looks sometimes like its in blu ray…..yet with other releases they have failed. I will say that The Colbys also has a nice video quality of the episodes I have seen.

I have this set, the picture quality isn't that bad. You have to keep in mind this is a show that was recorded some 20+ years ago and hasn't been in syndication in over 10 years, so yeah they had crappy source material (master tapes) to work off of. But the quality isn't that bad.... It is really only noticeable during the scenes in the steam room. Overall for a 20+ year old series the picture quality is fine.

Finally picked up a copy of Sisters and just as I remember it. Great Stories, great acting and now Season 3 has been announced! Hopefully Shout! can get the rights to release the rest of the seasons as well!
