Angry Walt Disney is NOT frozen!

Well, I enjoyed some of the Oscars until Nathan Lane announced that little crack about Walt Disney bein' "frozen solid".

Let me assure those of you who don't know, or weren't sure, but that is not true, it is indeed just a stupid rumor.

For over 10 years I've collected, studied, and even worked with Disney, and a biography I have on Walt addresses his death and even mentions the "frozen" rumor---and it cites it as just that, a rumor and nothing more (no one's even sure why or how it got started). I was always glad to inform unsure people of the truth, but I feel that the stupid scriptwriter who had Nathan Lane say that has just set me back a few years, lol. Someone told me he was jokin', but I also know how some of the public can be---I can just imagine those folks out there enlightened by this "knowledge", who can't wait to impress their friends with the news... *sigh*

For the record, our Mr. Disney was cremated and honored with a small memorial service with close friends and family. So now you can rest assured in the truth, and advise anyone you know who may be followin' down the false "frozen" path.

Strong in his passions,

Byron

Right, JSF...just a stupid ploy by a script-writer to try and make a joke. Sure, most of Hollywood probably knew it was a rumor and laughed along, but a lot of people out there aren't aware that that's false.

But now ya know!

Good question! I love the "defrost" theory...*snicker*...

And yeah, I suppose a power outage would suck in that situation.

I'm also with ya on the "only heads" thing. I mean, just look at "The Golden Girls"---only Sophia got a body, the other 3 paid for it dearly!

^Thanks Roxie Rickman^

"I picked up some shells for the kids and stuffed them into the pockets of my shorts, and some where along the way, as I had almost every day since I'd been stopped drinking six years earlier, I said this prayer:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change
Courage to change the things I can
And the wisdom to know the differance"
