Default Friendly's Restaurants

I miss ours that we used to have. Ours closed this past winter. They closed very suddenly. I was going to have breakfast there that Monday morning. One of the girls I knew that worked there said she showed up for work that morning and the higher management was there taking stuff off the walls and cleaning the whole place out. No notice was given to the employees. I do miss the food- it was good in my opinion (especially the ice cream). Friendly's was notorious for having slow service though. It seems you waited forever to get your food and drink. One of the waitresses that worked there told me the waitresses had to do their own dishes- that's why service was slower. They had this hot cocoa flavored ice cream this past winter I only got to try once because shortly after, they closed.

We used to have a Frindley's here and it closed several years ago. I tried it once and it was my last. I Got into an argument with a waitress who swore I said that I wanted mayo on my burger when I clearly told her mustard. After some mild bickering, she said she would have them fix another one and she came back about a minute later thinking I'd be too dumb to notice that someone had merely scraped off the mayo and covered it with mustard.

WOW!! I didn't even know there were Friendly's in California! I thought they were only on the East coast. That brings me back to when I was a kid. I've eaten at Friendly's in Pa. and N.J. I loved that place!!!

Oh No

All the Friendly's where I'm at are now closed...they closed last year.

I went down there for a school project, I almost wanted to take a few things from there...but didn't.

I heard Friendly's isn't the best chain restaurant...they should call them Unfriendly's!

Friendly's isn't around the NYC area so I've only eaten at them a couple of times up in NJ and PA.

I do like their ice cream that's sold in stores.
