Well it's been over 24 hours, so I will provide answer:

Dorothy Shay, known as "The Park Avenue Hillbilly" was a beautiful actress/recording star who passed away in 1978.

She co-starred in Abbott & Costello's "Comin' Round The Mountain" film, as well "The Waltons" in addition to numerous other guest appearances.

Her Brady episode - The Hustler (1974) as Frances Mathews.

Now here's one for you.....What then controversial b-movie actress/model appeared in one episode of "The Brady Bunch"?

Assuming the answer is correct, it was obviously a trick question. Like Treky, I was also thinking about the Beverly Hillbillies but none of them appeared on the show. The trick part was when the word famous was used. Famous usually means household name and Dorothy Shay doesn't qualify as one.

Great question though.

Because of her Playboy & nude roles, she lost the part to be a replacement for one of "Charlie's Angels".

Claudia was quite the party girl, and rock groupie which sadly lead to her falling asleep behind the wheel at 5AM on October 3, 1979. She died instantly at age 29.

Her Brady Bunch episode was in "Adiaos Johnny Bravo" as the assistant.

I knew who you meant right away(Johnny Bravo ep), but still had to go look up the name.

Still counts as correct, appreciate honesty, your prize a fantasy date with "Cuddles Cooper"! You should get that "inside joke"!

If not "ODAAT" Season 5 episode #101

Sadly, I'm not that much of a big spender.

Sorry, I wasn't able to get back to this sooner.

You're absolutely correct. It was Dorothy Shay. Congratulations.
