Awright! This works!

I have changed my screenname on this board from PomeranzFan1 to dpgsk8: "dpg" is my initials, and "sk8" because i am a figure skater.

My daughter was(only recreationally now) a skater. What an interesting world it is. I still can't believe we were out of bed by 3:00 AM during the week!!! Back when my daughter started skating, the US still required the skaters to do school figures(through the 4th). I was at the Governing Council in Phoenix when we voted to do away with them! I immediately called her(she was asleep...the vote came late that night) and told her she was through with patch and she was soooooo happy. I was also at the Governing Council when we stripped Tonya Harding of her USFSA membership. I remember seeing Nancy Kerrigan's parents standing in one of the doorway watching the vote. What a mess that was....
