when doing a science project idea... what is the abstract?

OMG! AMANDA! I just had to do one!

OK, the abstract comes before the lit review and it pretty much sums up your whole paper. So it's a summary of like your hypothesis, your lit review, your materials and procedure and conclusion. And it CAN NOT be over one page. LOL!

Ummm.... I did mine in 1st. My science teacher was like this is what you would send to a magizine if you wanted them to read your paper. I think it's in 1st..........

In the direction guide to my science project it says...........

Abstract - The abstract is a shortened version of your entire paper. Others can read your abstract if they do not have time to read your entire report. It should include information about you at the top: Name, address, school, grade, are and category of your project (Scientific discipline).

Below this information write three short paragraphs:
a.) Summary of purpose with hypothesis
b.) Summary of procedure.
c.) Summary of Conclusion
