Default Another Episode

In the recent past, I have made six attempt to stimulate some conversation about this fine series. So far, I have had no success! In any event, one thing that I have mentioned in among these various threads is the fact that a bunch of "Honeymooners" episodes have recently been uploaded onto You Tube. One episode that I concentrated on in one of my threads is called the "Hot Dog Stand". In this thread, I mentioned how I found the outcome of that episode to be very similar to the outcome of a third-season episode of "Gimme a Break!". I then went on and started another thread about how want of something more interesting to do has caused me to watch that episode on You Tube. Another episode that I mentioned having been recently uploaded is called "Two Men on a Horse". Well, last night I went ahead and watched this episode as well. When I first mentioned it here, I stated that I did not see anything on that episode that was anything like any episode of "Gimme a Break!" that I could remember. Well, now that I have been reacquainted with the episode, I guess I could say that there was something in it that was a little bit like "Gimme a Break!". In this episode Ralph is elected Treasurer and Ed is elected Sargent at Arms of the Raccoon Lodge. Ralph then, promptly looses two-hundred dollars of the Lodge's money on the night that he is elected! However, regardless of this, there were then subsequent episodes that dealt with Ralph's role as Treasurer and Ed's role as Sargent at Arms. This was for the sake of keeping up with a story. Well, even though each episode of "Gimme a Break" was different in terms of its story line, there were some things in some episodes that were sequential to things that happened in earlier episodes. These include episodes that dealt with the grandfather having moved in with the family, Julie having gotten married and the chief having died. The point that I am trying to make is that, in the same way that the "Honeymooners" tried to keep up with a story, so did "Gimme a Break!".

You're always making posts about other shows or actors from other shows. I think that's why you aren't getting replies. To get more replies you should post on stuff about the show itself on the message board. The "Titles" should be something about the actors/anything to do with that specific series on its message board, I think that would get you more replies.

There's not too much to really discuss on here anymore about the show.

We have posts about favorite episodes, favorite characters, worst episodes, when the show jumped the shark, et. No harm in creating duplicates though...I see certain topics repeated on a lot of these boards

Some titles could be:

My favorite episodes
My least favorite episodes
Worst actor
Best actor
Best lines/quotes
favorite songs performed by Nell on the show
Actors from the show in stuff their doing now
Actors from the show in stuff they did in the past
Pretend episode guide/fanfic/ideas for season 7
Ideas of stories that could have worked in the series for each character
Wardrobe of cast...I think you had some posts on that
Updates on any actors...marriages/deaths/births of children, et.
Screenshots of the show
Videos uploaded of the show

Those are just some ideas above.

When I first started this thread, I mentioned having just watched a "Honeymooners" episode called "Two Men on a Horse". This episode was about Ralph getting elected Treasurer and Ed getting Sargent at Arms of the Raccoon Lodge. Later in the series there were episodes about Ralph's role as Treasurer and Ed Norton's role as Sargent at Arms. I would consider this somewhat similar to "Gimme a Break!" in terms of keeping up with a story line. Throughout the run of "Gimme a Break!" such things went on as Joey becoming part of the family, the Chief having died, Julie getting married and Julie getting pregnant. After each of these facts were established, there were sequential episodes about these realities. Well, shortly before turning on my computer, I watched a "Honeymooners" episode called "The Deciding Vote". This was sequential to "Two Men on a Horse" in that it dealt with Ralph having already been elected Treasurer and Norton already being Sargent at Arms. In this respect, there was a certain degree of continuity.
