I joined Netflix but all the TV shows we added to our Queue were in the UNKNOWN area at the bottom of the Queue meaning they don't have them. We can't stream movies.
So I checked out http://classicflix.com (they seem to have a lot of old shows) and joined but it's still not showing they've shipped anything to me. If it's going to be 4 plus days before they ship I'll just cancel. I'll never get my moneys worth at this rate, they are more costly than Netflix.

Does the Classicflix queue show your titles as "short wait", "long wait"? Are you located in the west coast? Classicflix service used to be much better, but a few months ago I had to cancel because anything that was not shown as available "now" in the queue just wouldn't get shipped, and I suspect you are having the same problem. More and more titles were "short wait" or worse than there used to be, so I suspected they just hadn't been replenishing their stock. Their disc breakage rate was high too, probably still is. There have been many times where I received a disc after a long wait, only to find the disc had been broken during transit. And they only have one distribution center in California. That means long mail transit times for many people, and long transit times lead to higher disc breakage. When you cancel, check your credit card too. They may bill you an extra month by mistake (happened to me twice). This is a ma-and-pa type of business after all -- any disc rental business not named Netflix invariably is. Funny that Classicflix once planned on getting into the streaming business, which would cost even more capital than disc rental and yield lower profits. That didn't happen, of course. Things were just as bad for Netflix during its early days.

They are on the west coast, quite a distance from me. It took 7 days to get the movies, by the time they'd got them back 2 weeks had passed. I canceled, it's not worth the cost considering the long shipping. The things they sent me were available, no short or long wait on any.
