Default Were supposed to believe that Sally was a teenager????????

She looked 29 years old lol I guess Sally made the right choice in putting the baby up for adoption since she had no job or anything and it was better than keeping the baby and being on welfare like so many other mothers do today.

She was really rocking that Janis Ian hairdo wasn't she?

She did look way too mature as the part of a high schooler.

That sure was one cute baby. I am glad she didn't take Cliff's first suggestion on how to deal with him.

Yeah , she did look really old for the part. And not to be mean, but that hairdo S*cked! Talk about a bad perm!!!

The baby was adorable, and Cliff is adorable! The ep was really good, heart touching. But, even if it was the right thing to do, and she was broke and would have to be on welfare after having your baby for a while, no woman/mother could/would have a heart to give him up for adoption!

Well her Linked-In page says she was at Butler College in 1971-72. I'm assuming that means she graduated in 1972 after four years, which would put her birth year at 1950. The ODAAT episode was 1978, so if she was born in 1950, she was 28 at the time. On the other hand, maybe she quit Butler to go to the American Conservatory Theatre. In that case, 1972 wasn't her graduation year and perhaps '71-'72 was just her freshman year. Which means she was just 18 in '71 and was born in 1953, and would have been 25 on the ODAAT episode. So whatever the case, she was somewhere between 25 and 28 years old -- certainly not a teenager.

Yeah! And I don't want to sound mean or shallow or anything, but she really wasn't very attractive either! I mean they didn't have to cast a raving beauty in the role, but well I think Sally was badly miscast!

Yeah, it did not seem that this would be the type of girl that Cliff would go for either???

OK! I don't want to be weird by quoting my own posts! But I'm just rebooting the thread, and I feel the same way I did when I saw this ep the last time!

Even more so, I was in tears watching tonight!

And IDK maybe I didn't know about Valerie And Cliff (sorry I can't think of the actors real name at the moment) were really dating back when this aired last time around, but them kissing out in the hallway!! OMG!!!! The CHEMISTRY between them was THROUGH THE ROOF!!!!
