What do you think will happen if Dish Network & Direct TV merged? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

On the news tonight Dish Networks wants to buy their chief competiton Direct TV. If Dish and Direct becomes one what do think will happen? More channels or a reason to go back to cable?

Probably a price increase, which I really hope doesn't happen, but...

And they mostly have the same channels, so the only thing that would probably change, would be the availability of all the sports packages you would want. And I personally don't want any of them, ug.

Maybe I'd finally get TRIO and the Goodlife Network. Darn Dish Network. I'm sick of all the shopping channels!

Oh, nothing would make me go back to cable. I was just in Phoenix at my aunt's house and they have cable. I missed my "info" function to tell me what episode was on and I dreaded sitting through the slow TV Guide channel, having no control over how fast it went.

BTW, just think what the Charlie Chats on Dish Network would be like if he ruled the dish industry.

I dont think it would hurt them at this point..... AT&T HAS RUINED DIRECTV as far as im concerned..........

It could only make both better!!
