Default The episode, Bob's New Girl makes indirect reference to the tv show ALICE

When Bob met that southern girl, barbara started imitating her and said....."Well Kiss my grits"

LOL.

She was pretty but too goofy in my opinion which still made Barbara look a lot better to me. And Barbara was the typical girl. as soon as Bob met someone else she was jealous but wanted nothing to do with him when he had no one

LOL!! Yeah I liked how Barbara used Flo's famous line !

Hey what do you think happened when Cliff and the southern belle were down in the lobby talking? I was mad that it ended than, I was thinking this could be another two parter that Cliff was trying to get with that girl! Both Barbara and Bob would be really upset than!

Yeah , cause it was obvious that Cliff was attracted to her! Barbara noticed in the restaurant!

I wonder what Lil' miss Southern Belle would have done if Cliff made a pass at her? Would she stay loyal to Bob? She seemed flighty, and Cliff was pretty smooth with the ladies it seemed, like he could talk her into being with him!

Maybe that was also intended as an indirect plug for Alice, which was airing on the same night on CBS, immediately after One Day at a Time.

Ah, yes, Elissa Leeds! I recognized her immediately. She popped up a lot on my favorite '70s TV shows like Charlie's Angels and Chips. Then, she was on General Hospital for a while in the '80s alongside John Stamos. Here's a somewhat recent picture of her taken a few years ago. She stills looks good!
