Season four also brings us new hairdos for all three ladies.... Ann's shorter hair, Julie's longer, permed hair and Barbara's feathered hair.

I don't like Julie's hair permed at all. She looks like Angela from the Sleepaway Camp horror movies. Lol

I don't like the permed hair on Julie either. She looks better when her hair is natural and a little shorter.

I see the ODaaT logo also makes its appearance along with larger white-on-black title credits.

She looked SERIOUSLY older...is it just the hair?

It was a combination of the horrendous new hairstyle and the fact that she had a horrible drug problem. The drugs were ravaging her.

I think the permed hair is OK, it's her face that is getting rough. From the drugs she is looking too old for her young age and haggard !

It's striking even between just season 3 and season 4

It's a shame because Mackenzie Philips was such a cute girl before the noticeable drug issues.

She was really cute during season three. It seems as all the women peaked in season three.

Ann looked hot with shorter hair. She wasn't as plain looking. My crush on Bonnie Franklin took off when she cut her hair.

The shorter hair thinned out her face a lot. She didn't look as round faced!
