Default Anyone know why Ann Romano and the girls was not in the same scene in last ep of

season 2?

It was all phones scenes like Chrissy and Janet on Three;s Company? Wondering if it was some type of dispute going on behind the scenes for viewers not to see Ann in a scene with the girls

That's the only episode I missed. I'm watching the show for the first time. My dvr didn't record it. Too bad it's not on the Mother's Day marathon. I've seen all of Season 1 and almost all of season 2, plus the beginning of season 3.

That does seem strange that the girls and Ann wouldn't be in any scenes together for an episode.

For the first 20 mins it;s just Barbara and Julie and then Ann calls on the phone and they talk and then episode over

I didn't think about that when I was watching! I was thinking how it really showed the sisters bonding and featured MacKenzie (Julie) and Valerie's (Barbara) acting skills! They did pretty well pulling the whole show by them selves I thought!

LOL!! I was getting into the show! I was with Julie and Barbara worrying about why Ann hadn't checked into her hotel yet! But than on the other hand I was thinking back when I was a teenager, if I was in that position, it was getting late and a party was going on . If Mom was out of town and to call really late it could be played off that they were sleeping and that is why they didn't answer the phone and Mom wouldn't even suspect they were out at a party!

I know it's just a TV show, but what really was getting to me was this! She left Indy at 11:30AM , back than it was SO much easier to fly, so much less security , seemed like there wasn't even all the delays like these days. I think it is two hours earlier in Nevada than in Indiana. I understand Ann was busy as soon as she got there with business meetings and such . But STILL the first thing she would do is check into her hotel room! I mean come on she was going to meetings all day dragging her luggage around with her? Even an overnight trip not much luggage but still? I really think she would have checked in first even if it was a very busy, hectic schedule! REALLY ?She didn't check into the hotel till THAT late and didn't have time to call her daughters earlier?
