What school would let a parent teach their child's class? Love the episode though.

Small Wonder would often recycle DS episodes that they also had an episode of the mother teaching her sons class.

When I went to grammar school, the mother of one of my classmates was one of our teachers. So it's not unheard of.

I really don't think it's that uncommon. I remember having classmates that had one of their parents as a teacher. Heck, my sister was my 8th grade math teacher.

Yeah, not uncommon because I also had a teacher (substitute) usually who also happened to be a classmate's mother - and I had a male teacher who was a classmate's father too. I guess it happens in small town schools, like mine, but those schools were the best!
