That would be nice. Some of the episodes are on youtube but they could be pulled off at any time.

I'd rather it show up on a retro cable network so I could record my own set.

I, sometimes, wonder if we're EVER gonna see this show again. Ann Jillian is still around and could supply commentary for a dvd set and I know that Gail Edwards has expressed interest in getting involved if a dvd was produced.
I think the main concern about this show has something to do with the music rights and/or rights from the owners of the show. I had read that TV Land once added it to its line-up and it was quickly pulled after only a handful of episodes aired. Licensing battle issues? Who knows. One thing is certain, they are killing a good show by letting it rot in the vaults. Marian Mercer has already passed away. People don't live forever, Now is the time. Seize the day or lose the chance. |

Yes it was odd that TVLand dropped the show after only running back-to-back daily episodes for one week in early 2001. From my understanding, their deal with WB was for "cherry-picking" only and they weren't entitled to entire runs of WB shows and that was the reason it was pulled. I am just going by what I heard at the time on some old message boards.
Whenever I have contacted Warner Archive about the show's future on DVD, I always get the standard "this program has clearance issues" response. I am grateful for my homemade set but would love an official release with clear video and uncut episodes. |

Yes, Sonny (Paul Kreppel) performed bits of popular songs in every episode.
