Camera? Different Stokes Lives On. - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have a question about cameras. I am working with a few friends to form a production company here in New York and I needed to find out some info. We are going to write and produce a sitcom that really has a 70's feel to it. I want to capture the same quality and character that the Different Strokes show had in terms of picture. Can anyone tell me how I can find out which cameras were used in the production of Different Strokes and how many? I'm looking for the company that made the cameras, the model nubers, and how many they used as well as any other information. How can I obtain this info? We have an excellent idea for a Different Strokes type of show and would be looking for some show ideas and imput. I was thinking of making the same situation all over again. Having a rick white man adopy 2 black kids with a white daughter and housekeeper, even produce the same set. Or I was thinking the total opposite situation. Listen to this.... A rich black man adopts 2 white kids and has a black daughter himself and maybe a white housekeeper would fit better.

I don't know if it will help but on the DS site there is a picture of the cameras getting ready to film a scene.
