Just a testament to how popular Lucille Ball is that CBS would spend that time and money to replay two 1950s tv shows on a Sunday primetime not during any special holiday.

It may be the May sweeps but still, this show just how much people still love Lucy.

Smilings, my bet is that the colorization of both these episodes is new. CBS has been colorizing certain episodes over the last couple of years and they definitely look better than the older colorizations. I've seen the Christmas episode in the old and new versions and the new color looks so much more realistic.

The one shown at the convention was lost several years ago. Unless they found it, this would be new.

I'm a purist who enjoys a bit of fun...meaning that I LOVE the B&W episodes but I LIKE the colorized ones. I hope they continue to do this...anything to draw more attention to the classics.

I'm hoping for a new DVD or Blu release of ALL the colorized episodes. I'm also hoping for season 2 of the B&W episodes in Blu!

I love Lucy and always will!

Hopefully they'll release these two episodes and "Job Switching" on DVD together. I just hope if they do release these two it isn't another "Target Exclusive" tied to something else. I had to beg and plead to locate a copy of that release in December to get "Job Switching"
