Uncalled for joke about precious fitting into an Oscar dress

I am not politically correct, love a good joke, not sensitive, etc. I really thought the joke (not)/ comment about trying to fit the sheet on the couch was like trying to fit Precious into an Oscar joke was uncalled for. It was not funny, inappropriate and just felt terrible. Precious is not on the show and to comment on her weight is just so wrong in so many ways. It really ruined the show for me, I am really ticked about it. Do you really need jokes like that to be funny?

I almost didn't post as they get the shout out; I am talking about the show now right? But for me, not to post was sort of like aquiescessing or being ok with it and I for one am not.

YOMG....I totally agree with you...that comment disgusted me beyond words and I thought it was horribly mean and uncalled for....yes it did anger me and offend me....It did ruin the show for me but honestly this whole season hasn't been good in my opinion and I am not sure I will be wasting anymore of my time watching this show.
